Top Cottage offers holiday cottage self-catering accommodation for up to 4 people in the delightful village of Ashford in the Water, Derbyshire, close to the old market town of Bakewell in the heart of the Peak District National Park.

The Top Cottage is on a single level adjoining the owners' house. 

The well-equipped kitchen has an electric cooker/oven, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, etc.  There is a washing machine in the external garage.  A tumble-drier is also available.

Off the kitchen is a comfortable lounge/diner with a settee, a sofa-bed which sleeps one or two persons, a TV/video plus dining suite for four.

The spacious bedroom has a double bed (with a "memory foam" mattress!).  A cot and high-chair are available on request at no extra charge, of course!

The bathroom comprises hand-basin, w.c. and bath with overhead shower

At the rear of the cottage a small enclosed patio (ideal for dogs) with garden furniture plus an unfenced grassed area.  It has beautiful views across the village below and the hills beyond.  It is ideal for sitting outside and catching the afternoon sun!

There is off-road parking for one/two cars.

Ashford in the Water is one of the most picturesque of Peak District villages.  It has a well-stocked shop, a part-time Post Office plus two children-and-dog-friendly pubs both of which serve excellent food.
